Five distinctively different courses entice golfers to Grand Junction, and the area’s pros and course managers will gladly share their views of the most scenic holes, playable approximately 330 days a year:
- Adobe Creek, #6 on the Desert Nine – Featuring boulders around the green and a backdrop of Colorado National Monument.
- Chipeta, #7 – A water hole with 360-degree views of Book Cliffs, Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre Plateau and the National Monument.
- Lincoln Park, #1 – Looking back toward the clubhouse, the fairway is lined on one side with mature trees. This central city course is also home to Colorado’s oldest open golf tournament.
- Redlands Mesa, #17 – A 150-foot vertical drop to the green surrounded by a natural rock amphitheater.
- Tiara Rado, #2 – Looking back up the fairway, the red-hued cliffs of Colorado National Monument stand sentinel over this lush city-owned course.
